Saltwater Mid-Atlantic Athletics (SWMA), a non-profit boy's club lacrosse program, stands out by offering tournament play, practices, instructional clinics, and training throughout the year. Our unique approach serves the Delmarva communities, providing a lacrosse experience at a reasonable participation fee.
At SWMA, we focus on developing team and individual skills, improving players’ understanding of the game, and instilling teamwork, accountability, commitment, and self-motivation.
SWMA uses a three-stage player development model that provides a structure for skill development and competitive play at each age level.
Stage 1 Primary (5th grade & under)
Develop multi-sport youth athletes in a competitive structure by instilling commitmnet to being part of a team.
Stage 2 Junior (6-8th grade)
Develop multi-sport middle school athletes by preparing them for competitive high school level play and being part of a committed team environment.
Stage 3 Senior (9-11th grade)
Develop and provide high school players who want to play lacrosse at the collegiate level with the opportunity to gain appropriate visibility in the college recruiting process. Provide players and their parents with a resource to help evaluate post-high school lacrosse opportunities.
